HOW MANY TABLES DO YOU HAVE ON SITE?: 8 - 6 ft. (72") rectangular tables

29 - 8 top round farmhouse tables (60" round)

5 round cocktail tables (32" diameter) (approx 3.5 ft. tall)
HOW MANY CHAIRS DO YOU HAVE ON SITE?: We have 300+ chairs available on the property included in your venue rental with a weight limit of 250lbs.

10 Heavy Duty chairs with a weight limit of 500lbs.
WHAT ARE THE VENUE DIMENSIONS: The main portion of the venue is roughly 40ft. x 80ft.

West Covered Patio - 36'x18' - 648 square feet

East Covered Patio - 36'x18' - 648 square feet

Main Indoor Area - 1,056 square feet

Tent Covered Area - 40'x20' - 800 square feet

Total Footage - 3,152 square feet
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE VENUE ACCOMODATE?: The max capacity of the venue is 225 people with extra accommodations.
DOES A SMALLER WEDDING COST LESS?: The Nest at Josies Farm has set pricing based on a daily rental. Smaller sized weddings, reception only or ceremony only weddings are all subject to the same reservation cost.
HOW MANY CARS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?: We can accommodate approximately 110 cars in our parking areas.
DO WE HAVE TO USE YOUR PREFERRED VENDORS?: The only photographer allowed on site is Sierra Smithers with Two Twigs Photography.

Caterers, Florists, DJ's, and Videographers are your choice.

Caterers MUST be licensed by the IL Health Department and insured, as well as carry dram shop insurance.
WHAT TIME WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE VENUE?: The Nest Wedding Venue allows access at 9 a.m. on Friday morning.
WHEN WILL WE HAVE TO BE OUT OF THE VENUE?: You will need to have all decor down and out of the venue by 12 p.m. on Sunday.
WHEN IS MY WEDDING REHEARSAL?: Rehearsals are on the eve of your wedding, typically on Friday.

Rehearsals are confirmed 8 weeks prior to your event.
DO YOU OFFER FULL EVENT PLANNING SERVICES?: No, at this time The Nest does not offer full event planning. You will be responsible for coordinating with your vendors.
WHAT IF IT RAINS ON MY WEDDING DAY?: The Nest Wedding Venue can host an indoor ceremony for up to 175 people. After the ceremony, we will transition the barn into a reception space for your guests. The venue has an 80 ft long covered veranda that will provide coverage until the reception conversion is complete.

IS THERE AN ARBOR OR PERGOLA ON SITE?: Yes, we actually have several! These are complimentary and come included with your venue rental!
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL?: Yes, alcohol is allowed to be brought in to our venue but it must be served by a licensed bartender or through your caterer.

Please request a copy of our contract for a full list of alcohol guidelines.

Each client is required to have host liquor liability insurance; this is in addition to any dram shop insurance that the caterer/bar tender has.
ARE THERE ANY LOCAL HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS?: The wedding couple may use The Nest Bed & Breakfast from Friday - Sunday. This is included in the rental.
